Day Charter with Harbour Hotels

5th February 2024

Princess and Harbour Hotels recently launched an all-new day charter partnership, offering guests of Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa the unique opportunity to explore the Solent by yacht.  This marks a first for both brands, and is the latest addition to the longstanding partnership, offering guests a truly Best of British experience, and unrivalled access to the beautiful South Coast of the UK.

Guests of Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa board the exquisite Princess F55 from the comfort of the private marina, Ocean Village, and set sail for a unique and totally bespoke day of cruising the picturesque coastline.  The luxurious 55-foot motor yacht, crafted in Plymouth, UK, can accommodate up to 12 guests and reach a thrilling speed of 30 knots – the ultimate way to explore in style. Her contemporary style, bright and neutral interiors and social spaces aplenty make the F55 the very best option for luxurious day charters.  Guests can relax and soak up some British sunshine whilst enjoying the panoramic views from the flybridge, including the impressive sights of Southampton’s Naval Docks, the majestic Napoleonic Forts, the Beaulieu River and the Needles off the Western coast of the Isle of Wight.

Bespoke itineraries can include freshly prepared al fresco lunches onboard, prepared by Chef Patron Alex Aitken and his team at Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa, or an indulgent cream tea served at an idyllic anchorage.  A dedicated Princess team consisting of shore-based crew, stewardess and a Captain, will be on hand to ensure the tailor-made day exceeds expectations.  Guests can also opt to hop off and enjoy a stroll in the quaint maritime town of Cowes.

‘We are incredibly excited to extend our world-renowned Princess charter offer to include bespoke day charters with our Princess F55 to enhance the ultimate staycation experience of Harbour Hotel guests, and look forward to growing this relationship in the future’, says Joanne Davies, Princess Yacht Charter.
